FRAMEN, the digital signage platform from the Axel Springer group, connects over 30,000 locations in more than 30 countries with advertisers worldwide. For the relaunch of framen.com we completely rethought architecture, design and development: a presence that precisely addresses two fundamentally different audiences without losing either of them.

Alex Kurze

Our new website is a complete game changer. In terms of look it holds its own against the websites of major corporations - and that's exactly the league we want to compare ourselves with. If you're looking for a design agency that doesn't feel like a traditional agency, INSYNC is exactly right for you.

The starting point

The old website addressed locations and advertisers at the same time — and thereby reached neither audience properly. On top of that were grown technical structures and a multilingual setup whose translations were invisible to search engines. We started with a kickoff at leadership level and real product immersion: our own accounts in the ads and screen manager, analytics evaluation and competitive analysis for both worlds.

Our solution

We separated the funnels consistently: dedicated worlds for locations and advertisers, dedicated tracks for industries like gyms, hotels and coworking. The design was executed minimalist in the Apple look with a fullscreen visual, consistently mobile-first and with custom video AI renderings. Technically everything ran in Webflow on a documented, scalable style system with clean CMS collections, interactive 3D animations and an optimised video pipeline — plus a multilingual setup that fixes the SEO weakness of the old site. The result: over 15 pages, two audiences, three languages — and despite the video-heavy staging, a consistently green PageSpeed index. The site went live on schedule, and the collaboration has continued ever since.
