SONIQ is a showcase project by INSYNC: the concept website for a fictional VR headset, built to show what's possible with our standard and our technology. The task we set ourselves: a product experience at Apple standard, where scrolling itself becomes the experience.

The starting point

The best product websites don't explain, they stage. SONIQ was our testing ground for exactly this discipline: presenting a high-end product so that the visitor understands it before reading a single sentence — purely through movement, timing and reduction.

Our solution

At the centre is a scroll-based product experience right in the hero section: the headset unfolds, rotates, reveals its details to the rhythm of scrolling — around it a consistently minimalist look that directs all attention to the product. Technically with frame-accurate scroll control, optimised assets and the performance discipline that makes such experiences run smoothly. SONIQ is proof of how far a product website can go when design and development work hand in hand — not a client commission but a benchmark of what's possible at INSYNC.
