The starting point
Yarowa sees itself as a European platform that orchestrates and digitizes service provider networks. Explicitly not as a classic SaaS. The website had to carry three areas equally: Insurance, Leasing & Fleet and Property Management. And it had to speak to two groups: the clients and the service provider networks.
Then there was the scope. Yarowa has companies in Switzerland, Germany, the UK and Italy. The site was to appear in five versions: Swiss German, German, English, French and Italian. With everything a grown website brings along: old URLs that have to keep working, and over a hundred manuals and contract documents as PDFs.
And afterward, maintenance shouldn't depend on an agency again. Swapping a word or rephrasing a sentence should take a few clicks, not a deployment.
What we did
One presence for three industries
We started with six concepts for the home page and hero. From these came a structure that favors no industry: a home page for the platform, three equal solution pages and dedicated pages for service providers, technology partners, locations, careers and news.
Plus the pages needed day to day: contact, issue reporting, manual, contract components and the list of data processors.

Five languages, cleanly routed
The Swiss version sits at the root, the other languages under their own paths. All versions are linked via hreflang. First-time visitors land in the right language based on their location.
- Switzerland and Liechtenstein: Swiss German
- Germany and Austria: German
- France and Monaco: French
- Italy and San Marino: Italian
- all other countries: English, prices in francs only on the Swiss version

Review right on the page
Yarowa's language teams didn't comment in documents but directly on a preview of the finished site. Every comment was pinned to the spot it referred to, and we implemented it exactly there.
Along the way, we switched the English version to British spelling throughout.
Technical texts in every language
The manual and the data processor list were initially largely untranslated in all languages. We brought both pages up to date: 149 texts with 592 values in four languages. Technical terms such as UVG, KTG, DRG and Spitex stay as they are. French and Italian are named according to national law, for example LAA/LAINF and APG/IPG.
Maintenance without developers
Today, Yarowa changes whatever changes day to day on its own. Every line of text in all five languages, with a click in the preview. The structure and order of the sections, on the other hand, stay fixed. That's intentional: the layout stays exactly as it was designed.
- Text and images on every page
- four logo strips with 42 logos: add, remove, reorder
- 55 button targets
- News as formatted body text with its own preview image
- Testimonials as separate entries, independent of the logo strips
A launch without gaps
Before go-live, we redirected all old URLs to the new pages and moved 126 PDFs with 255 references to our own hosting. Every page has exactly one H1, plus structured data, a preview image per language and per news article, a sitemap, robots.txt and llms.txt. We labeled 67 unnamed buttons for screen readers.
The maintenance page is back too. It's the holding page for when the Yarowa platform is under maintenance, and it wasn't part of the old content during the migration. For the launch, we also handed over a media package: LinkedIn banners and an email signature generator.
Tech and integration
Every text element editable
The site is built in Astro, with the designed markup and CSS carried over one to one. For editing, every text element in the markup has a field path. The value comes from Sanity and invisibly carries its origin all the way into the page. That's why the preview knows which field is behind every click.
Each language is its own document. If someone changes the English text, the other four versions stay untouched.
- 3,189 text nodes in 21 templates, 2,934 of them as editable slots
- 69 global slots for navigation, footer and labels
- 254 image slots
- 249 documents, each language as its own document
Two speeds
The preview is rendered on every request and shows drafts too, within seconds. The public site stays static. A webhook in Sanity triggers a new build after every change.
The editor code belongs in the preview only. On the public site, a build alias swaps it for an empty component so visitors don't load any dead weight.
Measured, not claimed
Before the rebuild, we backed up every page of the live version. Afterward, we compared every text node and every value for links, image sources, alt text, placeholders and aria-labels against that copy, after every intermediate step. Result: 170 out of 170 pages with status 200, zero content deviations.
A check script derives the routes from the route list, not from the build folder. It also flags any slot marker left behind. As of today, all 176 routes respond with status 200.
Forms, careers, analytics
The contact form runs through Brevo, with a honeypot, a timing check and a custom origin check. Depending on area and country, inquiries go straight to the responsible team. The careers page pulls open positions live from Personio with a 15-minute cache. If Personio goes down, the page stays up. Visitor analytics run on a self-hosted Umami.
The result
Yarowa has been live at www.yarowa.com since September 7, 2026, and all content has come from Sanity since September 9. Since then, Yarowa has maintained its texts itself, in all five languages.
In the PageSpeed test on October 21, 2026, the site passes the Core Web Vitals on mobile and desktop. On mobile, Largest Contentful Paint is 0.8 seconds, on desktop 0.6 seconds, and layout shift is zero.
