The starting point
Finance Estate maps the entire sale of investment properties in one platform: investment calculation, sales list, reservation, digital buyer self-disclosure, financing and notary appointment. It's used by property developers, real estate sales companies and broker networks, and according to Finance Estate by over 1,000 users. What sets Finance Estate apart from other providers is its own financing department through X Capital.
In early 2026, we had given Finance Estate, together with its holding company Estate of the Art, a new brand presence in Webflow. It looked good, but it was built as a brand site, not for search. And search is exactly where decisions are made in this market.
Our analysis showed around 41,000 searches per month in the topic area. By far the largest share revolves around calculators and tax questions: depreciation (AfA), returns, closing costs. Competitors own these searches with guides, calculators and comparison pages. One even runs a dedicated “Finance Estate Alternative” page.
That's why the SEO partnership began with a complete rebuild. The website had to show that Finance Estate leads its niche, bring in inquiries and have a matching page for every important search.

Structure and content
A page for every question
Before we wrote a single line of code, the page plan was in place. It was based on the search terms in the market and a close look at the pages that rank at the top for those terms today. From that came finished copy for every page, with meta data, sections, FAQ and structured data.
- Core pages: platform, process, pricing, integrations, case studies, about, security, facts and FAQ
- five industry pages: property developers, real estate sales companies, broker networks, financing advisors and banks, lead agencies
- nine feature pages, from tax and investment calculation to the customer portal
- ten comparison pages, including Investagon, Inscalia, MyInvest Pro, Vesturium, Propstack, onOffice and Excel
- a calculator suite with six calculators and a guides section with expert articles
Industries, not templates
A property developer has different questions than a broker network. That's why every industry page has its own messaging, its own hooks and its own structure. The developer page, for example, opens with the three questions that new-build sales teams still sort out by phone today: Is the unit still available? Is every partner working with the same numbers? Which sales partner actually delivers?
Comparisons with all cards on the table
Anyone searching for alternatives is close to a decision. For these searches, we built comparison pages that disclose their criteria upfront and back every claim about other providers with a source and date. That way, readers get a real comparison instead of an ad page.

The design
Clearly the market leader
Most providers in the industry rely on bright, rather plain websites. Finance Estate needed to stand clearly apart from that. We developed several hero directions and chose a completely dark look: a beam of light in gold and orange hitting the product, plus glass, fine textures and calm glows.
The real product in the hero
Instead of stock imagery, the hero shows the platform's “My Properties” dashboard, rebuilt in the new style and fully usable. Filters can be clicked and switch on their own when idle. Below it, a six-step scroll scene explains how a sale works with Finance Estate: from the mess of Excel, PDF and WhatsApp to the finalized notary appointment.
Show, don't tell
Many sections demonstrate features instead of just describing them. On the home page, a depreciation calculator works out the first-year tax effect live, with declining-balance depreciation and special depreciation under § 7b. The mega menu organizes the platform into selling, financing, and tax and support. Customer testimonials appear on the page with names and companies.

The calculators
The biggest lever was the calculators. Searches for them are plentiful, and none of the top-ranking pages calculates after-tax returns over several years. That's exactly what Finance Estate does in its platform. We brought this strength to the website as a public calculator suite.
- Investment property calculator: after-tax cash flow over up to 30 years, with financing, subsidized loans, remaining balance, net worth statement and IRR
- Return calculator: gross and net rental yield, price-to-rent ratio and return on equity
- Depreciation (AfA) calculator: straight-line, declining-balance under § 7 (5a) EStG and with special depreciation under § 7b EStG, with a year-by-year depreciation schedule
- Purchase price allocation and closing costs, plus a dedicated page for North Rhine-Westphalia
Linked and verified
The calculators work together. Closing costs and the land share can be carried over into the investment property calculator. Declining-balance depreciation and § 7b only become selectable once the new-build details meet the requirements. We double-checked every calculation example on the site before it went live.
Every calculator ends with the step to the platform. Anyone who runs the numbers on a property here sees right away that their sales team gets this in Finance Estate for every unit and every buyer.

Tech and launch
Built fast and clean
The new site is built in Astro and served statically, hosted on Vercel. Animations run on GSAP and Lenis, the light beam and glows on WebGL. Colors, spacing and typography live as tokens in the CSS, so new pages from the SEO waves fit into the same system without any rework.
Made for Google and AI search
- every page with its own title, meta data and exactly one H1
- structured data for organization, website, software product and FAQ
- sitemap, robots.txt and an llms.txt with quotable key facts
- a dedicated facts page, so AI assistants describe Finance Estate correctly
- redirects from the old blog URLs to the new guide pages
Go-live
On October 19, 2026, we switched finance-estate.de over to the new site. We carried over the legal pages, careers and job postings from the old site. We set up weekly rank tracking for 130 search terms, so every new page is measured against real numbers.

The result
A brand site has become a website that works for search and inquiries. 55 pages, six public calculators and a dedicated page for every industry, every feature and every important competitor.
The relaunch is just the beginning. In the ongoing SEO partnership, guides, calculators and comparisons are added in waves, all in the same system and the same look.
